You would learn the processes and procedures already in place for our various accounts, to assist in carrying out the duties of the Treasurer position including but not limited to monthly and annual budget reviews, accounts receivable and accounts payable. You would be familiar with spreadsheets and software. Time commitment is estimated to be 5 hours per week.
You do NOT need any prior fire or EMS experience! What we ARE looking for in all cases is a willingness to promote the health and well-being of the Falls Church community!

Description
Founded in 1925, the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department is comprised of dedicated and certified volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians who provide emergency medical services, major incident and special event support, and fire prevention education for the people of Falls Church and Arlington County.
The FCVFD is a public charity that utilizes the generous donations of businesses and individuals in our community to train and equip our members to aid in the preservation of life and property.
