ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley

On Sunday, November 3rd, Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley is hosting our second annual cycling event, Cycle of Hope. With five courses that showcase the best views the South Bay has to offer, there really is something for everyone - whether you’re bringing a little one to the Kids’ Course, riding the Century, or cycling one of the distances in between.

In addition to the riders, we are looking for hundreds of volunteers to assist before and during the event to make this event a great success. Most shifts are 3-5 hours long and there are plenty of options throughout the day to fit your schedule!

Here’s a sampling of roles:Here’s a sampling of roles:
o Event Day Volunteers - At the Start/Finish Line, help with registration to handing out medals and everything in between! (14yrs old & up)
o Course Marshals/Route Guides - Be part of the action! Keep everyone safe and on track throughout the routes. (18yrs old & up)
o Refuel/Water Stations - Provide hydration and moral support along the routes. Perfect for groups of 5-20 (14yrs old & up)
o Cheer Squad - Cheer on the riders as they finish! Great for families. (All Ages!)
o "Ask Me" Greeters - Join these elite volunteers to provide direction and answers to Cyclists & Spectators. (14yrs old & up)
o Motorcycle Volunteers - Ride for Cycle of Hope with a little more speed! Volunteer on your motorcycle to ride along with the cyclists (18yrs old & up)
