we are looking for volunteers to survey our soup kitchen guests. The survey should take 20 minutes to walk through with each guest, and the surveyor logs the answers on a digital survey using laptops we have. Most questions are multiple choice but some are open ended. We will be conducting a training for surveyors for an hour late afternoon/early evening on either the 4th or the 5th of November.
The dates we need surveyors (we need 7 to 8 on each date) are:
3:-5:15 pm 11/11, 11/13, 11/15, 11/19, 11/21
1:45-1:15 Saturday, 11/23

Description
Cathedral Kitchen has a vision of success, hope, and abundance for people in need in Camden. This vision drives all of our programming and calls us to do more during this unprecedented time. In pursuit of that vision, we are supporting the immediate needs of vulnerable residents in the short-term, while breaking down barriers to supports and opportunities that will lead them to long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Annually, our Meal Program feeds 3,000 Camden residents who are living in scarcity - many are unemployed or underemployed, homeless or tenuously housed, and lack access to basic needs and stabilizing supports. While addressing their food insecurity, our Support Services provide personal care items as well as access to social services, benefits, and housing through service partners. Connecting guests to these services helps them reach a more stabilized status from which they can achieve higher-level goals, like education and employment. Our Culinary and Baking Arts Training program further supports our mission by readying economically marginalized individuals for sustained employment.
