Regular, weekly volunteers are needed on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 11 AM to talk with Wilkinson Center's beginning ESL (English as a Second Language) class. No special skills are needed except the ability to speak in fluent English! Volunteers are broken up into small groups with students and given conversation corner prompts to engage adult students in speech. This is a quick and easy way to make a huge difference in our adult students' lives!

Description
The Wilkinson Center is building the community by providing help and hope to people in need. We do this by offering a food pantry, job assistance center, GED and continuing education classes, emergency assistance, case management, and programs meeting the needs of children. A multi-cultural community is served by our caring staff and concerned volunteers.
