Ready, Set, Read! is a program sponsored by the Duncanville Public Library that is geared toward improving the literacy of elementary aged children. Tutors will help students improve their reading skills through guided reading, literacy activities, and read alouds. Student progress will be measured during a twelve-week session of tutoring. Each tutor will be paired with one student, sessions will include a space that can accommodate social distancing between all students and their tutors.

Requirements:

  • experience tutoring school age children
  • patient
  • flexible
  • easy going
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

10 tutors are need.
An orientation will be provided.
