Thank you for your interest in our iCan! Work opportunity. This program allows our employees with Down syndrome to gain meaningful work experience through community partnerships. The ideal volunteer will assist our members with Down syndrome perform classroom duties and socialize. We will send a confirmation email with all the details you need!

Welcome to the Down Syndrome Foundation of Florida!
We believe when POTENTIAL is given OPPORTUNITY the outcome is SUCCESS.

We envision a day where people with Down syndrome are fully included in their communities: working, playing, studying and living together with their peers.

We believe that the more opportunities any individual is given the greater the likelihood of their success. Every successful athlete, academic achiever or musical prodigy has many dedicated hours of practice, study and effort. It is our goal to provide more and more opportunities throughout the community for individuals with Down syndrome to be involved and included - not just because it is the right thing to do, but because we know EVERYONE will benefit from it! We provide scholarships, educational / informational programs, community / business partnerships to improve inclusion and legislative and political advocacy for issues related to individuals with developmental disabilities like Down syndrome.
