Share your caring heart and provide spiritual support to a hospice patient.
The hospice spiritual support volunteer does the following: Faith-based patient interaction through reading, singing, conversation..emotional support through discussion. Assist with grief support groups for family members.

*Must be able to volunteer a minimum of two (2) hours per month.

Description
Compassus Hospice offers peace and comfort to patients and their families by reducing the stress, pain and other symptoms of a serious illness. Hospice is not just for the final days of life. it's about helping patients and their families live as well as they can when life expectancy is limited.
Volunteers are instrumental in supporting our hospice efforts in Memphis and the surrounding areas and also in Southaven and surrounding areas. As a Compassus Hospice volunteer, you have the loving opportunity to touch and enhance the lives of our patients and families.
Our volunteer opportunities are limitless and range from volunteering behind the scenes in the hospice office to volunteering in outreach or community events and by providing face-to-face non-clinical services to patients and families.
