Hello and thank you for considering Show Me Riders Horse Club! We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities for those interested in lending their support to Ponies & Pumpkins 2019!
Candy Stations
- We will have about 6 to 8 decorated and themed booths for the guests to visit along the trail. We are looking for at least 2 individuals at each booth to interact with the guests and disperse candy. The booth can be themed to your liking, or we can provide decorations and or suggestions. All candy to be distributed will be provided by Show Me Riders. Booth must be set and ready for the opening of the park no later than 11:15am.
Parking
- We need 4 to 6 individuals to aid with making parking easy for all those visiting Little Blue Valley park for Ponies & Pumpkins!
Pumpkin Patch
- At least 4 to 6 people are needed to supervise the Pumpkin Patch. Children will be able to 'pick’ a pumpkin and then decorate it. This area tends to get a little messy, as there is paint and glitter.
Food
- 2 people are needed to assist with keeping the hotdogs cooked, popcorn popped and bottled water available for the guests.
Welcome Table
- 2 people are needed to greet guests as they arrive. This is an important role, as they will also need to ensure that everyone entering has completed and signed a liability waiver, due to our use of horse drawn wagons.
Roamers
- This is a very exclusive role
