Our Surgery Waiting volunteers greet & welcome patients and families to the waiting area. They help explain the surgery process to families and help families keep track of information on their loved ones surgeries. Volunteers assist with helping families locate services, such as food and pharmacy. Our compassionate and dedicated volunteers assist with escorting families to the meeting rooms to meet with physicians after the surgery has been complete and other duties as assigned.
This position requires someone with excellent customer service skills and who can work as an integral part of a team as well as be confident to perform independently. Currently we are looking for volunteers who have a flexible schedule and who are available to volunteer on a substitute/fill in basis.
