LOOKING FOR COMPASSIONATE, CARING PEOPLE WILLING TO BE A FRIEND TO OUR HOSPICE PATIENTS.
CAN YOU READ? PLAY CARDS? ARE YOU A GOOD LISTENER? OFTEN TIMES AFTER PEOPLE RECEIVE A HOSPICE DIAGNOSIS THEY BECOME ISOLATED & LONELY. SIMPLY BEING PRESENT AND LETTING THEM KNOW THEY ARE NOT ALONE IS REALLY IMPORTANT. MAKING A BAD DAY BETTER OR SIMPLY BRINGING A SMILE TO THEIR FACE IS VERY REWARDING. EVERY LIFE IS VALUABLE AND HAS MEANING, SO REMINDING OUR PATIENTS THAT THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN IS HUGE. VOLUNTEERS ARE AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR CARE TEAM AND WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU BE INCLUDED. Volunteers are a big part of our hospice care team. Caring and compassionate volunteers make such a huge impact on our patients and their families. Whether you want to have direct care with our wonderful patients or help to do administrative work in our office, WE NEED YOU. The feeling of helping people live out each and every day with purpose is amazing. I look forward to hearing your story.
Our "We honor veterans" program is so meaningful, so if you are a veteran or know of some Vets that would like to give back please let them know that there are plenty of people they can honor and we will work together to bring joy to them at a time when they need it most.
