This is a family friendly event. We are inviting civic organizations, churches, college student social clubs, neighborhoods and individuals to enjoy the cooler temperatures to enjoy the new trails, boardwalk and water front while we clean up the park for the fall season. Food, t-shirts and supplies will be provided. Please feel free to bring work gloves if you have them as we have a limited number of those available.

Keep Abilene Beautiful is a network of dedicated Abilenians working together to make our city the best place to live, work and play. We equip local partners and volunteers with the tools they need to build a vibrant, engaged community. Founded in 1986, Keep Abilene Beautiful has more than 30 years of experience deploying resources for local clean-up, recycling and youth engagement efforts. Everything we do is focused on mobilizing volunteers to take action across the city. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we lead nearly 700 volunteers and empower our citizens to improve our community for everyone. REQUIREMENTS
- This event is planned for 3 hours. With enough volunteers we have no doubt we can accomplish a fall sweep in that time.
- All volunteers will need to sign-in beginning at 8:30 a.m., sign a release of liability waiver. Any volunteers that are minors will need to have their parent/guardian signature on the liability waiver before he/she can participate.
