Help with virtual silent auction/gala fundraiser!

6/24/20- We are having this event virtually this year! We will still need help setting things up online and managing the event; let us know if you want to help!


Hello! The Cat Connection is having our annual silent auction/gala, Whiskers & Whiskey, on Nov. 13, 2021. It will be a live event with virtual components.

We will need a lot of help the night of the event, with things like checking in guests, checking people out on their purchases, selling raffle tickets, serving food and other duties. There will be meetings before the event (dates are flexible), and then you will be needed the day of the event, either for set up before the event or for the event or both if possible! (the event is 7pm-10pm). However much time you can give us would be very helpful!

We also need help in the months before the event securing donations of auction items and food. If you're not afraid to ask businesses for donations, we could REALLY use your help! We will give you materials and lots of support. If you've never done it before, it's really not as bad as you think! Businesses WANT to help; we're just giving them an opportunity to do that!

This is our biggest fundraiser so you will be working with us to help raise funds to save the lives of stray and abandoned cats and kittens who badly need our help. Also, it's a really fun event, we will have live music, food, silent & live auctions, raffles, a cat rescue film, a whiskey tasting, cutest pet contest, and more! Please help if you can! The kitties will be grateful (and so will we!).
