**This program only takes place the second Saturday of each month.**
Bring your affinity for arts and crafts to the Santa Cruz Public Library System community by helping adult patrons discover the joy of learning and accomplishment through fun, hands-on activities. If you have a special skill, is an option to run this activity's projects!
- Set up of activities, including setting up tables and materials, even outside on occasion.
- You'll keep materials available, replenishing if needed from stockroom.
- Coach/assist participants with projects, while allowing participant to maintain autonomy.
- Assist with clean up and breakdown of work stations.

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.

- Must be at least 18
- The ability to work some or all of the second Saturday of each month from 1:15pm - 4:45pm
- Physical ability to independently set up craft supplies and manipulate crafting tools. You'll also need to feel comfortable creating simple crafts under the direction of the Librarian.
