Product information The Patient Education department works to ensure that patients and caregivers receive the most current and up-to-date information pertaining to diagnosis, treatment and support.

Purpose The purpose of this role is to assist the patient education team in its goal of ensuring that our list of patients and caregivers are correct and up-to-date in order to continue receiving timely and appropriate information regarding their diagnosis.

Position Tasks

  • Volunteer 1:
    • Update contact accounts in SalesForce with email addresses that are to be edited or removed from receiving LLS emails
  • Volunteer 2:
    • Update contact accounts in SalesForce with postal addresses that are to be edited or removed from receiving post mail

Desired Skills

Volunteer should possess the following skills/qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proofreading skills
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Data Entry experience
  • Salesforce experience highly preferred

Location

  • Able to work from LLS national office in Rye Brook, NY

Time Commitment

10 to 12 hours a week with a six month minimum commitment.

This is an ongoing role with a desired commitment of 6 months.

Shift Times

Flexible schedule based on mutually agreed upon times. Work must be completed during business hours 9am - 5pm.

Background check required Yes

Training

LLS will provide the volunteer with an orientation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society including an overview of LLS clinical trial history. LLS will provide volunteer with Salesforce CRM training.
