Do you love working outdoors in a beautiful setting and have experience maintaining and monitoring trails? The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Volunteer Trail Steward to help monitor and maintain trails at our Camassia Natural Area located in West Linn, Oregon. Camassia Natural Area includes a popular, short hiking trail and boasts a stunning spring wildflower bloom. Trail maintenance is needed year-round and will include levelling boardwalks, working with others to put down and maintain wood chips, removing brush encroaching into trail, planning and installing water bars and other features to improve trail drainage, maintaining trail signage and more. The Trail Steward will play an important role in providing a safe and enjoying experience to preserve visitors.
