The Volunteer/Recruitment Coordinator is the voice of the chapter. You will be liaising directly with ChickTech Chapter Director and new volunteers, providing guidance in terms of volunteerism, representing ChickTech in the local community at events, and ensuring all volunteers have an opportunity to bring their skills and talents to the chapter.
The perfect candidate for the Volunteer/Recruitment Coordinator will be kind, charismatic, trustworthy, has previous personal volunteer experience, is passionate about empowering girls and women in technology, and is able to make a sustained commitment to the chapter and team. As a coordinator, hosting networking events and participating in industry events to recruit is necessary, so the perfect candidate should be social and enjoys meeting new people.
The benefits: an opportunity to develop leadership experience to put on your resume. Extensive networking opportunities at a local level with a wide diversity of tech companies and other organizations. Having a direct impact on the ability of the local ChickTech chapter to be able to enact its mission. Having a positive, direct impact in the lives of girls and women.
