SCORE Western Mass is the local Chapter of a nationwide nonprofit association comprised of volunteers
dedicated to assisting emerging and existing small businesses. SCORE provides free face-to-face or
online counseling and also offers low cost workshops.

Their Springfield main office is in need of volunteers to handle Chapter Administration. This would entail
responding to client inquiries, telephone and social media contacts, assisting in the preparation of
newsletters, maintaining Chapter calendar, workshop promotions, assisting Chapter members regarding
various meetings, room bookings, and the overall office management. A knowledge of basic computer
functions including Google, Word, and Excel is required. Days and hours are flexible with a minimum of
10 hours a week suggested.

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE offices across the country and 10,000 volunteers offering free business mentoring and low- or no-cost workshops.

For over 50 years, SCORE's thousands of working and retired business professionals have volunteered to support the success of small business nationwide. SCORE business mentoring is free and confidential.
