My Girlfriend’s House Inc. is looking for a Treasurer to add to their Board of Directors. Our organization works with middle and high school young ladies in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia to help enrich their lives. In our organization, we work together hoping to make a positive impact and huge strides in our community.

The Treasurer of the Board is the financial officer of My Girlfriend’s House. They are responsible for the management and disbursement of the organization's funds and financial records. Her or his board responsibilities will be as such:

• Manages the organization’s finances
• Prepares monthly financial statements
• Ensures all government tax and reporting documents are within regulation and filed in a timely manner
• Provides annual budget to the Board for approval
• Manages the development of financial policies and procedures
• Ensures appropriate financial reports are made available to the board on a timely basis
• Allocates appropriate funds to the organization’s committees

Must have at least 5 years of strong financial and leadership experience for this position.
