We rely on volunteers for all functions of our programs. So we need someone to take care of welcoming, orienting, scheduling, and keeping in touch with volunteers. We need someone with the following skills:

  • Love people
  • Organized
  • Believe in the value of volunteers and volunteering
  • Likes history- cool old buildings and stories of the old days
  • Wants to make a difference
  • Good communicator
  • Outgoing

The Santiam Heritage Foundation is restoring the historic Brown House in Stayton Oregon. The house is used for community social and cultural events and will provide office space for businesses or non-profit organizations.

Description

The Santiam Heritage Foundation, Inc is a recognized Oregon 501(c)(3) charitable organization. It is organized exclusively for non-political, charitable, educational purposes. Specifically, the purpose is to raise and administer funds to restore the Charles and Martha Brown House and establish an endowment to support operations, progress, and services to the community.
