Capitol Hospice is seeking volunteers that are passionate about helping others. Hospice volunteers do a variety of things to assist or entertain our patients simply by being a friend.
Reading at the bedside, crafts, listening to music, watching TV, playing cards, walking a dog or just listening to someone talk about their life, are just a few of the things volunteers do with our hospice patients.
Being a friend to a patient and their family can bring a level of comfort and joy that is appreciated beyond what you may know.

Description
Capitol Hospice offers end-of-life care, pain management, and symptom control for any person with an advanced illness or who has a life expectancy of six months or less. At Capitol Hospice, we pride ourselves on the quality of care, professionalism and kindness that we provide to our patients and their families. We recognize that each patient’s situation and needs are unique. Our services are not only limited to the patient, but extend to all family members as well.
