The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation depends on volunteers to help fulfill our mission of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. To this end, we coordinate several local fundraisers and events throughout the year in Utah and Idaho.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to work on specific projects. These volunteers are staffed based on their unique skills and are welcome to assist with leadership and chapter support tasks. You are the heart and backbone of our organization.

Use your skills or learn new ones while helping add tomorrows for people with CF. Hours are flexible. Contact us with any questions!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.

Description

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-threatening rare, genetic disease that affects the lungs, digestive system, and other major organs. Virtually every approved CF drug therapy available today was made possible because of the Foundation's support. In the 1950s, children born with CF seldom lived to attend kindergarten. Today, thanks to wise investments by the Foundation in CF research and care, the median predicted age of survival is now in the 30s and 40s. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making great strides towards finding a cure for this disease and improving the quality of life for those born with CF.
