Do you love sports? We need you!

Special Olympics Stanly County is looking for Athletic Coaches. We are currently seeking volunteers to serve as coaches for various sports within our organization. If you have the sport knowledge and are at least 18 years of age, we can train you on how to work with Special Olympic athletes.

  • Commit to being an Coach for a full season - 8 Weeks
  • Must have appropriate sport knowledge and experience.
  • Complete online and in-person training to give you tools to be successful.
  • Pass a criminal background screening at no cost to you.
  • Available for 2 to 4 hours per week during the sports season.
