We are currently seeking a volunteer to help take photos/videos at work sites of volunteers and at events. The volunteer will need to have their own reliable transportation and will to drive to various work sites in Lake County and/or Sumter County. You do not need to have a photography or videography background just a keen interest. This can be a short-term or long-term time commitment and typically Mon - Fri, 1-2 hours, 2-3 times a week, and occasionally on weekends. Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter Florida, Inc. is an ecumenical, Christian ministry dedicated to building simple, affordable housing for people living in sub-standard and over-crowded conditions beyond their control.
Description
Formed in 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter is one of nearly 1800 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. Our first home was built on East Main Street in Leesburg in March 1990. Since then we have completed over 126 homes.
Since 1990, our affiliate has partnered with 93 families worldwide through our tithing program.
