Come discover the mysterious creatures that live below the pier at night!
Pier Peer is one of Olympia's most unique experiences. Our trained staff provide underwater lights that attract spectacular estuary creatures, while our volunteer Naturalists help you identify and learn more about what you’ve found. From octopus to anemones, from sea stars to sea slugs, you never know what you’ll encounter!
Volunteers are an important part of the success for this program. You will have a chance to explore and learn while helping the community to connect with their local waters.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please follow these steps.
