Baby Blue Oaks

It's time to plant the acorns that have been collected throughout the park! Come and join in the fun of adding new oaks to the park! We will begin with a little lesson on the history of the oak trees in the park, share information about how to plant, and then walk throughout the park, planting acorns in pre-identified locations!

Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, as we will be off-trail. (Literally, in the weeds!)
Bring a filled water bottle that you can carry with you!
A hat and sunscreen are suggested.

Once the acorns have been planted, we will haul some water to the site, to ensure that they have a great start to becoming tall and mighty oaks!

All tools and training provided!

Teens--come earn community service hours!
Families--volunteer together and watch your little acorn grow!
