The LOVE IN ACTION 5k and Fun Run is a benefit race to support The Agapao Movement (a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit) whose mission is to combat human trafficking by providing a safe home for kids living at risk of abduction and educating the public about this industry of modern-day slavery.
A key component of the race is a 1k Fun Run that begins at 9:15 AM and is open to both children and adults. We are looking for someone to oversee this event as Fun Run Race Director. This person will need to meet with the 5k Planning Team leading up to the event and manage the event (with the support of the Planning Team) on race day.
The race, which will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, in downtown Sugar Hill, GA, marks our fifth annual race and is a Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event.

Agapao, Inc. (DBS: The Agapao Movement) is a registered faith-based 501c3 nonprofit, charitable organization based in the U.S. We combat human trafficking by providing a safe home for kids living at risk of abduction and educating the public about this industry of modern-day slavery.
We depend on grassroots/indigenous partnerships with like-minded people to meet; social needs, promote community improvement, eliminate cruelty to children & family violence here and around the world.
