You can help Habitat build capacity with minimal time commitment!
Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County is looking for its next wave of Site Hosts. This is a great opportunity if you like to socialize, or you want to be on a construction site but don’t feel comfortable using tools. Hosts welcome other volunteers to the site, make sure they are properly signed in and help brief all volunteers on Habitat mission and the goals for the day. Once trained, serving as a Host only takes a couple of hours in the morning, but you’ll also be welcome to stay and help build if you wish!

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of sub-standard housing by building simple, safe, and affordable homes for working families, in partnership with God, our community volunteers, and local organizations.
Description
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County partners with families in need to build affordable homes together. Each Habitat partner family is required to invest a minimum of 500 sweat equity hours of their own labor into the construction of homes before being eligible to purchase their home utilizing a 30-year, no-profit, no-interest loan.

- Orientation or Training
- Training consists of two-hour classroom training and 3-5 two-hour shifts in the field. After certified, shifts will usually be under two-hours, with the opportunity to stay longer.
