The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is seeking volunteers to engage with residents in Washtenaw County as you help deliver meals to their home. Meal delivery volunteers are sometimes the only visitors these older adults have during the day, and sometimes the only hot nutritious meal they have access to. Drivers are especially needed during the winter months!

Ypsilanti
Help is needed with various shifts and roles:
-Be a ride-along partner to a staff person. Jump in and out of the car, bringing meals to a residents doorstep. Weekdays 10am-1pm.
-Volunteer as a couple with a friend or family member. One driver and one ride-along partner needed per couple. Weekdays 11am-12pm.
- Drivers needed for Saturday delivery from 11am-1pm.

Ann Arbor
January-August shifts are available Monday-Friday starting at 11:30 a.m., or Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
September-December shifts start at 9:30 a.m.

Requirements:

• Must be 55 or older to join RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program)
• Minimum two-four hours per month or as needed
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive
• Depending on opportunity, lifting or brisk walking may be required
