This organization is a small local nonprofit, with annual income less than $20,000. We train volunteers to tutor local adults from other countries in English.
We require bi-annual audits every other year, a requirement for applying for one of our grants.
We have one paid employee who works less than 12 hours per week. We have approximately 60 volunteers, including our all-volunteer board members. MOST of our expenses go to a) payroll and payroll taxes, processed by local bank, b) board insurance c) volunteer insurance d) materials for tutoring.
