Calling All Artists and Movers: Make Our Food Bank Glisten and Shine!
Our Mission: At Lifelong our mission is to "...empower people living with or at risk of HIV and/or other chronic conditions to live healthier lives." Lifelong has robust client management and support programs for housing, medical, wellness, dental, aging and disability client + sexual health education and prevention for both adults and youth. And through it all, the heart of our organization since its start 35 years ago, has been our Chicken Soup Brigade program.
To better support our Chicken Soup Brigade clients, we are in the process of re-modeling our Food Pick-Up Center to make it into a beautiful Grocery Store! We are so excited to offer our clients the best choices in this grocery store style pick up center.
Volunteer Need: We need you to help us make this space beautiful! We are going to have volunteer shift days on 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in October to work on some building renovations. Tasks include painting (on 10/19 and 10/27) and freezer/fridge moving (on 10/26). Help us make our space beautiful!
