We are looking for a few great minds to assist in the creation of the 2020 Spring Luncheon for Mary Health of the Sick. If you love to organize and plan, this is the place for you. We have procedures and plans in place, just looking for fresh ideas and assistance. This is a fun event that is put together for the supporters of our five-star skilled nursing facility. The mission of Mary Health of the Sick Convalescent and Nursing Hospital is to provide the highest level of long-term care in southern California. The community of Sisters, Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, is dedicated to helping in the personal life transition of each resident and his/her family with a spirit and expression of love and concern. Mary Health pursues excellence in the care of the whole person - body, mind, and soul.

Description

  • Located in Newbury Park, California, Mary Health of the Sick is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility. It is owned and operated by the Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, a Catholic congregation of women religious who dedicate their lives to providing loving, compassionate nursing care to people of all faiths. The Sisters, who live on the premises of the hospital, founded and opened its doors on June 20, 1964. The hospital has served the needs of over 4,000 men and women of all faiths since its inception. The Sisters’ ministry is an extension of Christ’s mission of bringing hope to the suffering, healing to the sick, and comfort to the dying. Their sacred aspiration is to accompany the frail elderly and terminally ill, along with their families, on life’s final transition.
