The Lord's Place is seeking a chef and a kitchen assistant to help prepare meals for Cafe Joshua, our in-house, lunch-time restaurant for homeless individuals, and to help with our large catering division. Applications for these volunteer positions must have previous professional experience in food service/cooking.

Our supportive housing model gives our clients the time that they need in a stable, safe environment to address the issues that led to their homelessness.
Job Training & Placement
Our Job Training and Placement Program addresses the need for homeless men and women to regain economic self-sufficiency. The program assists clients in finding and maintaining employment by offering job training, placement and education programs.
Social Enterprise:
Our Social Enterprise businesses - the Cafe Joshua kitchen and our Joshua Thrift Stores - allow us not only the opportunity to hire as many of our own clients as we can, but it affords our clients the opportunity to develop their hard and soft work skills in a supportive environment.
