Do you enjoy singing or playing music? Would to like to make a difference for someone who is nearing the end of their life? Join our hospice program! We need people who are willing to go to patients 2-4 times a month and bless them with their musical skills. Many of our patients are elderly and live in assisted living centers or nursing homes all around the Salt Lake Valley. You can choose the time of day and the number of patients you would like to work with.

Description
Encompass Health is looking for a volunteer to provide companionship and support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, walking and caring for family pets, or even creating a photo album of the patient and their family.
