Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help families build a place to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.
Workshop Coordinator
- Work with Habitat staff to manage monthly training schedule for future homeowner's program requirements.
- Communicate directly with future homeowners and instructors to confirm availability, coordinate RSVPs, and homeowner attendance.
Homeowner Support Partner
- Each homeowner family is assigned to a Homeowner Support Partner who provides individualized support and encouragement and serves as a resource, mentor, and mediator throughout the program and for a period beyond the new homeowner purchasing their new home.
- Partners guide future homeowners through the application, education, construction, and purchasing processes, and continue to support them once they become homeowners.
Say yes and make a difference in your local community while empowering local families to secure their own stable, affordable homes. Please contact us at volunteer@habitatect.org to express interest in joining our Homeowner Support Committee.
