We are so excited that you are interested in our YMCA Adaptive Sports Fun Run Series!
Fun Run will be a recreational program with the goal of getting special needs participants active and moving!! This program provides a fun opportunity for families to complete a variety of themed activities within a track, while walking, jogging, or running at their own pace!
There will be 6 themed fun runs every Saturday for 6 weeks starting 11/02 - 12/21
Costume Kickoff, Pirates and Princesses, Color SPLASH, SPORTATHON, Superhero run, and a Holiday run finale!
Each run will have about 4 stations on the track that will consist of activities themed for the run that week.
Volunteers will help participants be engaged and active, all while having so much fun!

The YMCA of South Florida is part of the YMCA of the USA, the largest not-for-profit community service organization and second largest charity in America.
Serving the Greater Miami area since 1916, the YMCA has programs for kids, families and the community from the Miami-Dade/Broward County line south to the Upper Keys. Programs are held in schools, parks, recreation centers, and at our 4 YMCA Family Centers and our 3 preschools.

- Must be at least 16
- 3 hours. Will assist in setting up, working 1 on 1 with participants, and breaking down at the end of the program.
- Must complete a YMCA volunteer packet that will be given to the volunteer on their first day.
