Holiday Adopt-A-Family(tm) Distribution 2019
Our Holiday Adopt-A-Family(tm) program matches families with children who live in Bellevue and are in need with sponsors who provide gifts and food assistance during the holiday season. Participating families fill out a Christmas wish list, specifying gift and clothing ideas for each child and a general household need. A grocery store gift card is provided to help with the cost of food for the holiday meal.
In 2018, 199 community sponsors supported 282 families, including 669 children, for the holiday season. We are so grateful for your spirit of generosity.
We need volunteers to help us with this two-day event! All Holiday Adopt-A-Family volunteers must be 13 years or older. All volunteers under 18 require adult supervision. To protect the confidentiality of the children we serve, during the afternoon shift we only allow volunteers under 18 if they are not Bellevue School District students. Setup and cleanup are open to all ages.
