The mission of Heroes Sports is to honor, empower and motivate veterans and service members through sports, outdoors and recreation.
Description
Not all wounds are visible and our group provides a positive atmosphere among veterans and service members to ensure they know they are not alone. Heroes Sports wants to be an example for others going through issues transitioning from the combat zone to civilian life and show ways that would assist in their transition. Heroes Sports is also involved in other Community events as a display of our thanks for your support. Founded on October 30, 2015 we are a National 501c3 Non Profit Organization for military men and women both activeduty and veteran that incorporates sports and recreation activities to increase mental/physical health and team building. We are also an organization created to help veterans returning home from combat operation, in hopes that we can assist the veteran to be more involved with society to ensure a smooth transition into civilian life.
