we all need help at some time.
Maybe you will have some extra free time and can share it.
All you need to be able to do is talk with another person, listen or just be present.
Thats all it takes, but it makes such a diiference.

Caregivers help us all by caring for their loved ones in their home which creates less tax burden for all of us.
They also bring care and quality to their loved one's life which can help them remain healthier. Most people want to be with family and friends when they are going through life changes.
If a caregiver does not get a break to take care of their own needs it's very possible they will become ill and or no longer be able to provide the support their loved one needs.
You = Don't have to be a nurse or home health aide = you don't have to do any medical cares or personal cares = you don't need any special skills = you don't have to help every week = you don't have to come up with things to do = you don't have to drive far to support.
We will be able to show you the impact you have made on the caregiver you are matched with and you yourself will see the change the break makes. We can also show you the impact it will have on your life, your health both physical and mental. When you lay your head down for the night you will know you made a difference that day.
Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and supervision for a child, teen or senior who may have a disability, chronic health condition or may just be frail due to aging. There are needs for day, evening and weekend hours throughout Washington County. We need volunteers from all backgrounds and abilities who want to make a difference.
