The Salvation Army After School Program serves children in grades 1-5 from low-income neighborhoods and low-performing schools and provides schoolwork assistance and enrichment activities. We are looking for volunteers to help with homework assistance and tutoring, as well as various enrichment activities, such as health and gardening, creative arts, The Salvation Army Character Building Program, and recreation. The volunteer hours are:
Mondays 2:30-4:30 and 4:30-6:30
Tuesdays 2:30-4:30 and 4:30-6:30
Wednesdays 1:30-4 and 4-6:30
Thursdays 2:30-4:30 and 4:30-6:30
