Pet Therapy

Pet Therapy helps to encourage movement and physical stimulation in hospice patients. It also provides numerous mental benefits for hospice patients including socialization, mental stimulation, companionship, and love.

Volunteers receive training

We will work with your availability, there is no set time limit needed for this opportunity!

Description

Hospice volunteers bring comfort, joy and love to patients who are terminally ill through their actions.

Volunteers simply need a caring heart and a willingness to serve. The extensive volunteer training program provides them with an awareness of patient's needs and prepares them to participate with the hospice team.
