Opportunity Overview

Prepare to be scared! Naumkeag's Haunted House returns with a delightfully frightful experience that is not for the faint of heart! We've grown this event to become one of our areas best haunts and we continue the tradition this year with bigger scares and new surprises in the mansion and through the gardens.

We're looking for actors (aspiring or otherwise) to give our horror-seeking guests a spine-chilling experience! Our Haunted House runs from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, with volunteers arriving at 5:30. We will provide dinner, costumes and make up, but volunteers may wear their own. The night usually wraps up at 9:30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Entertain visitors by taking on a scary role
  • Be active and energetic and most of all...scary
  • Help ensure visitor safety

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, fun personality
  • Comfortable in costume and makeup
  • Ability to stay in character
  • Passion for Halloween is a plus
  • No previous acting or scaring experience required

Time Commitment:
Each volunteer shift begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. The event runs Thursday, Oct. 25 and Friday, Oct. 26. You can sign up for one night or both!
