Hello!
Here at River City Hospice we are looking for volunteers who are passionate about serving others in a time of need. Our goal is to provide each Hospice patient the opportunity to have a volunteer who can be a help to them and their loved ones.
The needs of each patient vary which gives our volunteers the opportunity to have a variety of ways they can be of help to a specific patient. For example, reading to the patient or simply talking and sharing stories of each other’s life.
We really aim to let each volunteer and they're patient/family find what "works" for them and how they connect the best.
The amount of time required is as much as you’re available. Again, we aim to let each volunteer and they're family decide the best frequency and time of visits :)
We hope to get you involved here at River City Hospice!
We love to serve our people and enjoy our time together as we do it!
