This is a short term volunteer opportunity, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:00 pm.
Reading buddies work with our Rec. Check kids in this afterschool program. You'd spend 30 minutes reading with kids and then listening as they read back to you. This activity is crucial to developing reading skills proficiency. Frogtown Community Center is St. Paul's newest multi-million dollar facility and has great new spaces to encourage learning and volunteerism.

Description

Within the recreation services section - volunteers will help our recreation center staff with activities such as after school programs, coaching athletic teams, reading to kids, serving as a mentor to teens and young adults, teaching and instructing specialty activities and helping with seasonal special events.
