From there, volunteers gain access to a variety of ongoing and one-time service opportunities, including staffing school site food pantries, deliverying groceries to vulnerable families, supporting educators with research and tech projects, and staffing district wide student and family events.

Description

Berkeley School Volunteers has been the coordinating link between the community's volunteer resources and the needs of our public schools since 1991. BSV is responsible for the recruitment, training, placement, recognition, and evaluation of community volunteers in all 20 schools in the Berkeley Unified School District.
