Our traveling exhibit, Robot Zoo, has positions available for 1-2 in-exhibit docents. Choose from either a robot costume craft on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons, or an animal activity either day either shift.

ROBOT CRAFT (volunteer will use hot glue)
Decorate a robot costume from recycled paper bags!

ROBOT ACTIVITY
How does a chameleon use its sticky tongue? How to platypus find food in silty waters? Teach exhibit visitors with fun, hands-on activities!

Description

A 1200-acre nature preserve in the heart of Kimball Junction in Park City, UT. The LEED certified EcoCenter houses a small museum and educational center. We have a small staff & could not do the work we do engaging the community and being stewards of the land without the help of volunteers!

  • Must be at least 12
  • 2.5-3 hour shifts
  • Craft volunteers will use hot glue guns. Activity volunteers must be comfortable speaking with the public and leading activities with both children and adults.
