ORGANIZATION: Transitions EAAT

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Transitions EAAT is launching The Horse Companion Project. Some of our buddies need some extra TLC. Our four therapeutic horses, two mares and two geldings, are currently up for "adoption". Since they give so much to our community with riding lessons, we would love to give back to them. They need special humans who will make sure they receive the tailored care they deserve throughout the week. Whether you're looking to adopt one day a week or five, there's a horse that needs you. This opportunity would be great for someone who wants to build a relationship with a horse or gain horse experience. (Not a riding opportunity)

This opportunity requires a five week minimum commitment, not including training. Please make sure this is something your schedule will accommodate before inquiring for position.

Training will be provided, typically through your first three visits.

Clean and refill water buckets (must be able to lift up to 30 pounds)

Fill hay net/manger
