Taking place on Thursday, November 7th at Embassy Suites in downtown Des Moines, Muscle Team(r) is a high-profile, sports themed social event to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We are expecting over 350 guests including business men and women who will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with their favorite athletes. The concept of Muscle Team(r) is to gather top athletes and pair them with a MDA Buddy, a local child living with neuromuscular disease. The evening consists of a live and silent auction, sports themed games and other activities.
We are looking for volunteers to help make the night run smoothly.
While we'd ideally look for people who are able to attend the entire event, we do have two separate shifts available: 4:30-7:30 and 7:00-10:00.
Volunteers will be doing a variety of jobs, including running our games, supervising our silent auction, and helping with set-up/tear-down. All help is welcome and appreciated!
This is one of our largest fundraising events of the year. With the money we raise, we are able to positively impact the 1,700 individuals and families we serve here in Iowa. Your help allows people with muscular dystrophy live longer and grow stronger.

Description
At MDA of Iowa, we support over 1400 families by providing clinics, support groups, medical equipment assistance, and a summer camp for our youth patients age 6-17. We keep our administrative costs low but need volunteers to help!
