The first holiday after the loss of a loved one is exceptionally hard. To help the families and friends of our patients who have passed get through this difficult period, Good Shepherd Hospice began hosting a special holiday event in 2007 called Lights of Remembrance.

This event includes music of the season - both spiritual and secular, readings from staff and members in the community, lighting of a candle by each participant in recognition for those that are gone, and the lighting of our holiday tree.

We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, parking, refreshments, and clean up. This is a perfect service opportunity for a youth group.
