Thank you for considering sharing your gift of time with FotoFest.
Our fall season opens with three international exhibitions: VELVET GENERATION features Czech photographers Roman Franc, Gabriela Kolčavová, Igor Malijevský, and Vojtěch V. Sláma. The artists of VELVET GENERATION are part of a generation that came of age in the wake of the Velvet Revolution, the non-violent transition of power in 1989, in what was then Czechoslovakia. DANSK KONCEPTUEL FOTO is an exhibition of four outstanding Danish conceptual photographic and new media artists: Nanna Debois Buhl; Christina Capetillo; Charlotte Haslumd-Christensen; and Trine Søndergaard. INTERSECT - Technology, Belief, and the Environment is a new, original exhibition. Invoked directly and indirectly, through photography, video, and installation, the artists examine issues surrounding value in nature, science, religion, the built environment, and constructed identity.

Gallery Hosts allow FotoFest to keep exhibitions open to the public. They greet visitors, ask them to sign the guestbook, answer questions, and are a welcoming presence. At times, Gallery Hosts are able to catch up on their reading, photo editing, and emails. There is WiFi in the gallery. We have small snacks and water available. The gallery can be chilly please bring a sweater with you if you tend to get cold. FotoFest greatly appreciates the time you are able to share with us.
