- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
Sign-up to plant many hundreds of native trees and shrubs to bring health benefits and beauty to this popular community park -- your participation is what will make this community event a success!
Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy a piece of fruit or coffee before we get started planting. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots - and be ready to have fun!
How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out our quick Registration Form (https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/). Registration is highly recommended but not required.
This planting is in partnership with the City of Sherwood and part of Tree For All, a partnership which has planted more than ten million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed since 2005. Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.
Under age 18? A signed youth waiver(https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you in Sherwood this November!
